Limelight Musicals
Limelight Musicals is a student-run musical theatre group at the National University of Singapore (NUS), creating accessible musical theatre for students and audiences in Singapore.
Featured production
The Projection
Set in an underground cinema and a sanctuary for the lost, The Projection follows Demi, a failed painter drawn into the glow of its luminous members and their enigmatic owner, Mr Claude, until the comfort of belonging starts to curdle.
Created with a team of a dozen songwriters, resident scriptwriter Jovan Ang, over 30 performing cast and 20+ production crew, it is our first original book and score musical.
The Projection is supported by the National Youth Council's Young ChangeMakers Fund, the Stephen Riady Group of Foundations and the NUS Office of Student Affairs.
